Terra placed the cumpass in its pouch and drew her long sword, ready for a fight its blade decorated with a dragon glinted in what light there was.

I see the sword. it's a Dragoon sword. Hmm. Need to ask about that later. I pull my own sword.

"better to prepare now than to be caught out later " she said swinging the sword over her head then into a figure eight in front of her.

Kai shook her head as she heard the swords unsheathe. "I can see that you feel that you will win. Ignorance." She opened her eyes abruptly and held up her hands, palms facing them. "You see these hands? I will defeat you with them, and you won't stand a chance."

Hmm. Best to play this safe. I activate the jewel in the pommel of my sword. My fire magic flows over the blade.

Kai observed the fire igniting on the blade. "Nice effect," she said, sighing. "Won't do you much good though."

Terra hesitated she had not see that magic in a long time, being an exalent swords woman she stood her ground.

Terra thought better and slid her sword away. "it is better to live now and fight tomorrow." she said
