Kai shook her head as she heard the swords unsheathe. "I can see that you feel that you will win. Ignorance." She opened her eyes abruptly and held up her hands, palms facing them. "You see these hands? I will defeat you with them, and you won't stand a chance."

"I don't wish to fight, but to defend" Terra said the sword held infront of her

Hmm. Best to play this safe. I activate the jewel in the pommel of my sword. My fire magic flows over the blade.

Kai observed the fire igniting on the blade. "Nice effect," she said, sighing. "Won't do you much good though."

Terra hesitated she had not see that magic in a long time, being an exalent swords woman she stood her ground.

"Are we going to do this or not? I have things to do."

"It is your decision," she said slowly, "not mine. After all, you are the fool here." she added.

Terra thought better and slid her sword away. "it is better to live now and fight tomorrow." she said

"Smart girl."

Terra looked at the woman " besides it is not my fight," she said

Kai raised an eyebrow. "Then whose is it? I don't know this foolish boy."

"Better to remove the threat now. No telling how strong it'll be later."

Terra turned to him " but if you take out one, more will follow" she said

Kai watched the two quarrel in boredom. "Kids," she muttered to herself.

The woman next to me turns and leaves. Oh, well. I turn back to the red haired woman.
